FAQ's

Who is running this?
This is a voluntary project set up by a few friends from One Church to get people talking and building community. The project started with a friendly chat between Sue and Jen who had never met and grew to encompass a team of lovely people who all believe in the power of good old fashioned friendliness. We are grateful to have received some funding from the Big Lottery Awards for All.

Do I have to pay?
Nothing! You will be charged for the food and drinks that you buy in the cafes, but sitting at a Table Talk table is free. Cafes can also join the movement for free.

Will there always be someone to talk to?
Unfortunately we can’t guarantee that there will always be other people sitting at the tables. Don’t be put off though, sitting at a table will encourage others to!
